Former Vice President Kamala Harris has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation across all areas, with a primary focus on speaking engagements and publishing. The agency announced the partnership on Tuesday, signaling a strategic move to expand Harris’s platform as she embarks on post-White House initiatives.
This collaboration marks a return to CAA for Harris, who was previously represented by the agency during her tenure as a U.S. Senator. CAA will work closely with Harris to identify opportunities that align with the issues she has championed throughout her career, including social justice, economic equality, and human rights.
Harris, who made history as the first woman, first Black American, and first South Asian American to serve as Vice President, continues to break barriers. She was recently named the first Black woman and first South Asian woman to be nominated for president by a major political party, further cementing her trailblazing legacy.
In addition to her new partnership with CAA, Harris is set to receive the prestigious Chairman’s Award at the 56th NAACP Image Awards this weekend. The award recognizes individuals who excel in public service and use their influence to drive meaningful societal change. Past recipients include notable figures such as Samuel L. Jackson, Tyler Perry, Amanda Gorman, Danny Glover, Maxine Waters, Ruby Dee, and former President Barack Obama.
“Vice President Kamala Harris is more than a leader—she is a force of change, driven by an unwavering passion to shape a brighter, more equitable future,” said NAACP National Board of Directors Chair Leon W. Russell in a statement. “Her legacy is built on courage, compassion, and a profound commitment to uplifting those who need it most. Her tireless advocacy for the most vulnerable among us has made her a beacon of hope and progress.”
As Harris transitions into this new chapter of her career, her partnership with CAA and the upcoming NAACP honor underscore her continued influence in shaping the national conversation on justice, equality, and public service.
