Victor Wembanyama’s security guard will not face any criminal charges for slapping pop superstar Britney Spears, Page Six can confirm.

A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department tells us Friday they concluded their investigation into the alleged battery incident that took place at Catch restaurant in Las Vegas Wednesday night.

“No charges will be filed against the person involved,” the public information officer also confirmed.

A rep for Spears did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

The Grammy winner filed a police report for battery after she was smacked in the face for requesting to take a photo with Wembanyama, a rising NBA star who was signed to the San Antonio Spurs in June.

The security guard was previously identified as  the Spurs’ team security director, Damian Smith.

Page Six has reached out to the Spurs and Wembanyama’s reps for comment.

Spears took to social media Thursday to share that she felt the incident was “super embarrassing” and that she was owed an apology.

“Traumatic experiences are not new to me and I have had my share fair of them,” the “Toxic” singer wrote in a lengthy note on Instagram and Twitter. “I was not prepared for what happened to me last night.”

Spears said she merely “tapped” Wembanyama to try and meet him — disputing the NBA player’s account that he was allegedly “grabbed” from behind.

“His security then back handed me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd,” the “Hold Me Closer” singer continued to claim. “Nearly knocking me down and causing my glasses to fall off my face.”

Spears then said that people in the public eye have a responsibility to “set an example and treat all people with respect.”

“Physical violence is happening too much in this world. Often behind closed doors,” the mother of two added. “I stand with all the victims and my heart goes out to all of you!!!”

Spears’ husband, who was present for the incident, issued his own statement on social media.

“The blame should fall on the coward who did this, the people who hired him without proper vetting, and a systematic culture of disregard for women within sports and entertainment,” the “Family Business” actor, 29, wrote in his Instagram Story.

He then continued, “I can’t imagine a scenario where an unarmed female fan showing any kind of excitement or appreciation for a celebrity would cause her to be physically assaulted, much less being hit in the face for tapping someone on the shoulder.”

Asghari also slammed Smith as an “out-of-control security guard” and “coward.”

He then said of the Spurs organization, “The people who hired him without proper vetting, and a systematic culture of disregard for women within sports and entertainment.”

Smith’s position on the Spurs remains unknown and it is unclear if he has been reprimanded.
