Recently released photos from the National Transportation Safety Board’s investigation shed light on the devastating crash that took the lives of prominent figures, including former Access Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe. The accident, which occurred on February 9, 2024, involved an Airbus Helicopters EC-130 near Halloran Springs, California.

Among the victims were Herbert Wigwe, his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman Abimbola Ogunbanjo. The crash resulted in the loss of all four passengers and two crew members aboard the helicopter.

The NTSB’s images capture investigators at the crash site, providing crucial insights into the tragic event. The circumstances surrounding the accident continue to be under investigation by authorities.
