Simone Biles is a married woman!

Earlier this month, the 26-year-old gymnast teased her forthcoming nuptials to Houston Texans football player Jonathan Owens by sharing a marriage certificate selfie on Instagram. “Almost time to say ‘I do,’” she captioned the photo. Over a year after the pair got engaged in February 2022, the time has finally arrived.

On April 22, the Olympic gold medalist shared the happy news with her 6.7 million Instagram followers by posting a series of photos from the big day. “I do 🤍 officially Owens 🤍,” she captioned the pics, which were taken by Houston-based photographer Rachel Taylor.

In the photos, Biles can be seen wearing a four-tiered wedding gown with a halter neckline and strappy open back. She paired the look with white open-toed sandals and a stunning bouquet by bespoke floral designer Maggie Bailey. Biles kept her wedding makeup glam simple and glowy and wore her hair up in an elegant ponytail. Owens wore a classy beige suit with a white button-up, checkered belt, and white loafers.

“Wifey got a great ring to it ❤️💍 First day of forever 🤞🏽,” Owens replied to her post. The football player also shared his own Instagram post with the caption, “My person, forever ❤️💍. #TheOwens.” As of right now, it’s unclear if the gymnast will be going by Simone Biles Owens or Simone Owens in the future and her Instagram handle is still @simonebiles.
