In a significant move, President Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of new and returning Chief Executives to fresh terms in various agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy. These appointments aim to strengthen and advance Nigeria’s position in the technology and digital economy sector.

Here are the newly appointed or returning Chief Executives:

1. Aminu Maida – EVC / CEO, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC)
2. Nkechi Egerton-Idehen – MD / CEO, Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT)
3. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi – DG / CEO, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)
4. Dr. Vincent Olatunji – National Commissioner / CEO, Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)
5. Tola Odeyemi – Postmaster General / CEO, Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST)

Additionally, a new Special Adviser to the President has been appointed to focus on Technology and Digital Economy. Idris Alubankudi will take on this crucial role to further drive Nigeria’s technological advancements.
