Authorities responded to a bomb threat at the home of Judge Arthur Engoron, overseeing the New York civil fraud case involving former President Trump. The incident occurred just hours before the trial’s closing arguments.
A court spokesperson confirmed the threat, stating that despite the alarming development, the proceedings are proceeding as scheduled. The Nassau County Police Department referred to the incident as a “swatting incident” in Great Neck Gardens on Long Island.
The New York Attorney General’s Office has assured that the trial will continue as planned, maintaining the focus on justice despite the disruption.
