The somber news of the demise of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, has been confirmed. The official Facebook page of the church conveyed the news, revealing that Pastor Odukoya passed away on Monday, August 7, in the United States of America.

The church’s announcement expressed, “The Fountain of Life Church Family, with complete acceptance of God Almighty’s will, announces the transition to a higher realm of our Father, Teacher, and a devoted servant of the Most High God, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya. He was the Founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church and he peacefully moved on to glory on the 7th of August 2023 in the USA.”

With heartfelt surrender, the statement continued, “We humbly yield to Your divine plan, O LORD!!!”

In gratitude, they acknowledged, “We extend our appreciation to the Lord for bestowing upon us a remarkable leader!!!”

Less than 24 months since the passing of his 47-year-old South African wife, Nomthi Odukoya, the preacher’s own demise has left a somber note. Nomthi had battled cancer for two years before her passing on November 9, 2021.

Their marital journey of 11 years was graced by the presence of two children.

Prior to his marriage to Nomthi, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya had experienced the heartbreak of losing his first wife, Bimbo, in the Sosoliso plane crash of 2005. The subsequent chapter of his life saw him finding love again with Nomthi.
