Mickey Carroll, also known as the “Lotto Lout,” gained notoriety at the age of 19 when he won £9,736,131 on the lottery. However, his extravagant lifestyle, marked by wild cocaine parties and excessive spending, left him penniless after just 10 years. In a recent exclusive interview with The Sun, Mickey revealed that he spent all his winnings and has no regrets about it. Notably, he did not set aside any money for his two daughters and three stepdaughters, aged seven to 20, as he firmly believes they should earn their own way in life.

Despite his turbulent past of reckless spending and run-ins with the law, Mickey now claims to have turned his life around. Currently residing in a one-bedroom council flat in Elgin, Scotland, he works at a quarry as a yard foreman, operating heavy machinery. Mickey asserts that he is now a “law-abiding citizen” and hasn’t been arrested since 2010. He no longer engages in the extravagant lifestyle that once defined his existence.

However, the consequences of his former actions still linger. Mickey’s children appear to accept his past decisions, with one even joking about the extravagant expenditures. Nevertheless, Mickey stands firm in his belief that his children should learn the value of hard work and independence.
