In a heartfelt ceremony, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Kogi Central PDP senatorial candidate in the last general election, and her husband, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, gathered to dedicate their newborn son, Prince Reign Emmanuel, while expressing their gratitude for surviving a harrowing birthing experience.

Recalling the traumatic events during childbirth, Mrs. Uduaghan shared her ordeal and expressed deep gratitude to God for saving her life. She vividly described her condition, revealing that she required six pints of blood and genuinely feared for her life.

Amidst her physical distress, Mrs. Uduaghan communicated her concerns to her husband, explaining her weakened limbs and abdominal swelling. The doctors promptly attended to her, only to discover a sudden gushing of blood, reminiscent of a tap being turned on. The situation was dire, requiring the use of a bucket to contain the blood flow.

Mrs. Uduaghan further recounted her experience, explaining how she struggled to breathe and eventually lost consciousness. When she regained awareness, she found herself in the operating theater. Fearing the worst, she uttered her final words, urging her husband to care for their son, Reign, in case she did not survive. However, she was immensely grateful to have survived the ordeal, having received six pints of life-saving blood.

The dedication ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Delta Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and his wife. Other distinguished guests included former PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu, Senator Sam Anyanwu (Imo PDP gubernatorial candidate), and various traditional rulers from across the state.

This event serves as a reminder of the fragility and resilience of life, as the Uduaghan family expresses their gratitude for the survival of both mother and child.
