Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has announced a 24-hour curfew in response to the increasing attacks by hoodlums on warehouses and businesses.
The decision was made to prevent further violence and protect the safety of the people. The curfew takes effect immediately as of Sunday, July 30, 2023. During this time, no movement is allowed except for essential duties with valid ID.
The governor emphasized that the well-being and safety of all residents are the top priority and urged everyone to comply with the curfew.
