In a significant move to enhance connectivity and boost socio-economic development, the Minister of Works, David Umahi, officially kicked off the construction of a dual 260km road linking Makurdi to Enugu. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a flyover at the Wurukum roundabout in Makurdi, the capital of Benue state. Anticipated benefits encompass improved socio-economic activities, enhanced accessibility to towns and communities, and heightened security measures to combat highway robberies and kidnappings.
