A devastating explosion rocked a lavish multi-million dollar home in North Carolina, resulting in the tragic death of NFL player Caleb Farley’s father, Robert Farley, and leaving another individual injured.
The incident occurred at a property in Mooresville, with authorities reporting that the explosion reduced the 6,300-square-foot home near Lake Norman to rubble. The injured person, an unidentified male, was promptly taken to Atrium Health CMC for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Caleb Farley, known as a defensive back for the Tennessee Titans, was on-site and seen conversing with law enforcement in the aftermath of the explosion.
The 24-year-old NFL player, a former standout at Virginia Tech, was chosen as a first-round draft pick by the Titans in 2021.
