Renowned music legend Elton John, 76, experienced a fall at his villa in Nice on Sunday evening, leading to his brief hospitalization. He was transported to the orthopedic department of the Princess Grace hospital center in Monaco for medical assessment.

A spokesperson for Elton John verified to MailOnline that he was discharged the following Monday morning and has returned home in good health. The statement shared, ‘We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following check-ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.’

Having recently concluded his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in July, Elton John has been enjoying the summer in France with his husband David Furnish and their two sons. Although he’s stepped back from touring to prioritize his family, Elton hasn’t ruled out occasional performances in the future.

Elton’s love for his family, especially his two sons, shines through. He referred to them as ‘the greatest gifts’ in his life and expressed immense love and pride for them. His bond with

his sons, Zachary and Elijah, has been a powerful source of joy and inspiration for him.
