Following reports of singer Trevboi being wanted for murder in connection with an incident at a Lagos nightclub, Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, has come forward to clarify the nature of Davido’s relationship with the accused. Contrary to earlier claims that Trevboi was a former signee of Davido’s record label, DMW, Isreal DMW stated that Trevboi was merely someone whom Davido had voluntarily supported by collaborating on a song. He further revealed that Davido had financed Trevboi’s music video but had since severed ties with him.

The Incident at Bar 38 Nightclub: Eyewitnesses reported that the incident occurred on the night of July 16 at Bar 38 Nightclub in the Fadeyi area of Lagos state. According to accounts, trouble arose when Trevboi attempted to leave the club without settling his bill of N52,000. A bouncer stationed at the entrance intervened and prevented him from leaving.

Clarification on Davido’s Relationship with Trevboi:

Isreal DMW took to his Instagram stories to clarify that Trevboi was never signed to DMW. He explained that Davido had voluntarily supported Trevboi by collaborating on a song together. Additionally, Davido had generously covered all expenses related to Trevboi’s music video. However, they have since severed ties due to an incident where Trevboi allegedly insulted Davido, despite Davido’s kindness and support.
