According to a reliable source, Bronny James, the 18-year-old son of NBA superstar LeBron James, underwent a cardiac screening a few months ago as part of a program for aspiring NBA players. The screening involved a transthoracic echocardiogram and an EKG, both of which returned normal results, indicating no signs of cardiac issues at the time.

Bronny, a talented 6-foot-3 combo guard, recently joined the University of Southern California’s basketball team as an incoming freshman, earning a four-star recruit rating. He showcased his skills during the McDonald’s All-American Game in March alongside other top high school basketball players in the country.

Unfortunately, during a basketball practice at USC, Bronny experienced a cardiac arrest, leading to his hospitalization. Thankfully, the medical staff promptly treated him, and he is now in stable condition and out of ICU, according to a statement released by a family spokesperson.

In response to the incident, LeBron and Savannah, Bronny’s parents, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the USC medical and athletic staff for their exceptional work and commitment to the safety of their athletes.
