Following the tragic demise of 22-year-old social media influencer Beauty Katera Couch, known online as BeautyK, her boyfriend has been apprehended on charges of murder, arson, and aggravated assault.
The young influencer’s life was cut short when her lifeless body was discovered inside a burning vehicle in Atlanta, Georgia. Law enforcement officials, suspecting foul play, have been investigating the case. Detectives from St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Proactive Enforcement Unit in Louisiana have now confirmed the arrest of Eugene Louis-Jocques, a 21-year-old who was in a relationship with Beauty.
Sheriff Randy Smith issued a statement affirming their commitment to apprehending suspects who flee to their jurisdiction to evade the law. “Let the message be that we do not take kindly to people who think they can commit a crime elsewhere and try to hide in St. Tammany Parish,” the Sheriff stated.

Louis-Jocques, now in custody, is awaiting extradition to Georgia. Although detectives have not yet released a motive for the crime, the arrest brings a glimmer of closure to Beauty’s grieving family.
BeautyK was renowned for her online rollerskating videos and had a strong social media following of over 151,000. Her posts often shared tricks and tips with her audience.
In the wake of her passing, tributes poured in from fellow skate influencers. Malik Thomas paid his respects by sharing a skating video featuring Beauty, lamenting the loss of a radiant soul. He stated, “A tribute to a beautiful soul gone too soon. Skaters like @beautykatera were a reason why people rolled with a smile on their face. To know that we recently had a convo about figure 8 and this clip and knowing you’re gone is disheartening.”
The Dip Girlz Crew, a local Atlanta group of female skaters, organized a fundraiser to honor Beauty’s memory and support her family during this difficult time.

Beauty’s mother, Kimberly, lovingly remembered her daughter’s vivacity and passions. “She was a friend to everybody. She loved going skating. She loved going to work. She loved her clothes. She loved wearing her hair so pretty,” Kimberly shared in a statement to a local outlet.
The Cobb County Police Department Major Crimes Unit has urged any witnesses with information to come forward. The investigation began when the local fire department responded to a vehicle engulfed in flames. Further inquiry revealed that Beauty had not been seen since the previous day. Subsequent searches uncovered her lifeless body, and indications suggest foul play was involved.
