In a recent development, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, has addressed the health status of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, describing it as “extreme incapacity.” Speaking at a meeting with APC chairpersons nationwide, Mr. Adamu expressed regret and extended his wishes for the governor’s swift recovery.

Acknowledging the governor’s absence, Mr. Akeredolu had applied for a 21-day medical leave, originally scheduled from June 7 to July 6. However, he remained overseas for medical treatment and notified the Ondo House of Assembly about the extension of his leave.

During the meeting, the APC leader also shared insights on President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial list and the ongoing consultations surrounding it. Mr. Adamu emphasized that the president is actively engaged in extensive consultations as he finalizes the nominations for ministerial positions.

The nation waits eagerly for further updates regarding Governor Akeredolu’s health condition while hoping for his swift recovery. The president’s meticulous approach to selecting ministers also reflects a thorough process of consideration and consultation.
