Popular actress Ronke Oshodi Oke, also known as Ibironke Ojo-Anthony, has opened up about her transformative weight-loss journey, revealing that it was motivated by her medical doctor’s advice. Debunking rumors of illness, she asserts that she is both healthy and vibrant.

During an interview with talk show host Chude Jideonwo, the 49-year-old Nollywood icon detailed her health-focused efforts and highlighted the significant role her doctor played in her decision to embark on this path. Ronke candidly discussed her weight, which had reached 110 kilograms at one point.

While initially hesitant to heed her UK-based doctor’s counsel, Ronke’s concern for her health, including high blood pressure issues, eventually led her to embrace the advice. She began her weight loss journey by using a “Speedy Weightloss” product under her doctor’s guidance. As her progress continued, she transitioned to the “Fat Surrender” product, which she credits with positively impacting her transformation.

Ronke, however, emphasizes the importance of cautious product use, as improper use could lead to health risks. She recalled a time when she became too thin due to excessive use of the “Speedy Weightloss” product, ultimately finding a balanced approach with the “Fat Surrender” product. Her current weight ranges between 86 and 87 kilograms.

While advocating for responsible weight loss practices, Ronke highlights the necessity of maintaining a proper diet alongside the use of such products. Addressing speculation arising from her recent photos showcasing her slimmer figure, she affirms that her motivation for this journey was primarily health-driven. She asserts her well-being, stating, “I embarked on this weight loss journey for specific health reasons. I am indeed healthy and vibrant.”
