Rapper 50 Cent is now under suspicion in a criminal felony battery case after a recent incident during his concert in Los Angeles. The alleged victim, Bryhana Monegain, a Power 106 radio host, filed a police report on Wednesday night, claiming that 50 Cent threw a microphone that struck her. Law enforcement sources familiar with the matter reveal that authorities believe the rapper hurled the mic towards his crew in the production area, inadvertently hitting Monegain.

According to the victim, 50 Cent made eye contact with her before launching the mic, indicating that he was aware of her presence. The incident left Monegain with a head laceration, requiring hospitalization.

During his performance at the Crypto.com Arena as part of his “Final Lap” tour 2023, 50 Cent had a moment of frustration akin to Cardi B’s notorious mic-tossing incident. The rapper was handed malfunctioning microphones on stage, clearly triggering his annoyance.

In video footage of the concert, 50 Cent walks onto the stage with a mic in hand to join YG, who is performing a song. Abruptly, 50 Cent turns to one side of the stage and throws the broken mic, inadvertently striking a woman in the head.

Witnesses present at the event informed TMZ that the rapper’s intention was not to target the woman, but the mic’s trajectory led to an unfortunate impact. A source linked to 50 Cent mentioned that the woman was not supposed to be in the restricted area, implying that her presence was unauthorized. However, this argument doesn’t seem to absolve 50 Cent of responsibility.

Instagram images surfaced displaying the victim with a forehead gash and blood-soaked towels around her neck, underscoring the severity of the incident.

Efforts to reach out to 50 Cent’s representatives have been made, but as of now, there has been no response.
