The National Executive Council (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently in session.

During this gathering, the former governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, is anticipated to be announced as the replacement for the former National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and Senator Omisore.

Dignitaries present at the meeting include President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, APC governors, NWC members, and others.

The agenda for the meeting encompasses appointing an external auditor to review the activities of the Senator Abdullahi Adamu-led NWC, as well as filling the vacant positions.
