When Fitbit first made its way on the scene in the early 2010s I couldn’t get enough of the company’s iconic wearables. My Fitbit Charge and Fitbit Flex helped me reach my daily exercise goals easily, serving as an important motivator on my fitness journey. However, that all changed when the Fitbit Alta was introduced. No longer was my fitness buddy just something that kept me accountable for reaching my activity goals, but it also let me know when I had an email, a text message, a phone call, or even an Instagram notification.
