Elon Musk Welcomes 14th Child with Neuralink Executive Shivon Zilis

March 1, 2025

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has once again expanded his growing family, welcoming his 14th child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. Zilis confirmed the news via X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, introducing their son, Seldon Lycurgus, to the world.

“Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus,” Zilis, 38, wrote in her post. “Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much ❤️.”

Musk, 53, responded simply with a heart emoji.

Musk’s Expanding Family

This marks the fourth child Musk has had with Zilis, following their twins, Strider and Azure, born in 2021. The announcement also inadvertently revealed the name of their previously undisclosed third child. Reports from Bloomberg in June 2024 suggested that Musk and Zilis had quietly welcomed another baby earlier this year, a claim Musk later confirmed, pushing back against accusations of secrecy.

“As for ‘secretly fathered,’ that is … false. All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret,’” Musk told Page Six at the time.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has long been vocal about his concerns over declining birth rates, stating that population collapse is one of the greatest threats to civilization. He has repeatedly encouraged people to have larger families, citing statistics from the World Bank Group to back his stance.

Paternity Lawsuit Adds to Musk’s Fatherhood Headlines

While Musk celebrates the birth of his 14th child, he faces ongoing paternity claims regarding an alleged 13th child. Conservative activist Ashley St. Clair, 26, has filed a paternity lawsuit against Musk, seeking sole custody of her five-month-old son.

According to the legal filing, St. Clair asserts that Musk is the father, stating she “did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time the child was conceived.” She also included text messages allegedly sent by Musk, including one from November 2024 in which he reportedly told her, “I want to knock you up again.”

Further fueling speculation, screenshots of their past flirtatious exchanges—some referencing sexual positions—have recently resurfaced online. Despite the public scrutiny, Musk has not yet publicly responded to St. Clair’s claims.

Musk’s Approach to Parenthood

Musk has consistently expressed his belief in large families and his commitment to being present in his children’s lives. In a 2022 interview, he remarked, “As many [children] as I am able to spend time with and be a good father [to],” when asked about his family plans.

The billionaire shares children with multiple women, including his ex-wife Justine Wilson and singer Grimes, with whom he has three children. His latest addition with Zilis reinforces his dedication to parenthood, even as legal battles surrounding his alleged offspring continue to unfold.
