We love a lazy day. Hanging out with friends, hitting up the mall or a local brewery or going for a nature hike on a sunny day is always fun, but we need some low-key days in between outings so we can recharge. We want to wake up late — without an alarm — and we want comfort to stay top of mind from morning ‘til night, even if we do need to pop out of the house at some point.
Some lazy days might mean marathoning corny holiday movies on the couch, while others might mean relaxing with a good book and latte at a coffee shop. They can take all sorts of forms. One thing they absolutely must have in common though? Cozy clothes. Instead of wearing your PJs when you do go out though, opt for something like this super chic sweater instead!
This sweater is warm with a thicker knit, but it’s not super chunky or heavy. It’s actually made with 78% merino wool! We’re obsessed with the fit too. It’s looser and oversized, serving up a baggy silhouette — but in a chic, purposeful way that’s undeniably stylish. It also has mega-dropped shoulder seams to really push that effortless elegance effect, along with creating batwing sleeves.
This sweater is also elevated thanks to its loose mock neckline, which is such a fool-proof way to turn any lazy day, sleepy girl outfit into a fashionable statement. It’s comfy too and definitely nice in the cold winter weather!
Another thing we love about this sweater is its easy sizing. There are just two size options, but they each cover a range. One covers sizes 4 to 10, though if you’re smaller, you can obviously still buy. As long as you like an oversized fit! The other covers sizes 12 to 18. You also have a choice between two colors: a greyish blue and a true black. You’ll see other color options on the same Amazon page, but the design of the sweaters themselves varies a bit, so make sure to study each photo before adding to cart!
Because of its baggy nature, this sweater is going to be absolutely perfect with some comfy leggings and slippers (or sneakers). It will work just as well with jeans though, or even wide leg khakis with a pair of booties. We’d love to see it with just the front tucked into a longer skirt too — even with heels!
