Larsa Pippen is just fine with her daughter, Sophia, staying close with godmother Kim Kardashian, even amid Larsa’s falling out with the Skims cofounder.
“I feel like Sophia has a good relationship with Kim,” Larsa, 51, shared during a recent appearance on The Jason Lee Show. “They’re loving to her, so I feel like I don’t want to tarnish that. It’s fine.”
She added that Sophia “still hangs out” with the Kardashians, though Larsa sees no reason to rekindle that relationship.
“I’m not the same person I was yesterday,” she said, “and I feel like I’m good.”

Sophia is one of four kids that Larsa shares with ex-husband Scottie Pippen, whom she married in 1997. The duo also share sons Scotty Jr., 24. Preston, 22, and Justin, 20. The two announced their split in 2016 before temporarily reconciling and announcing their divorce in 2018. Larsa began dating boyfriend Jeff Coby earlier this year.
Fans first suspected a rift between Larsa and Kim, 44, in 2020 when they noticed Kim and her sisters Khloé and Kourtney appeared to unfollow Larsa on Instagram.
Later that year, Larsa suggested Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West was partly responsible for the feud.
“If Kanye feels like him and Kim are better without me, then let them be without me. I’m OK with that. … I will survive,” she said during an appearance on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, adding that she believes West, 48, “brainwashed” Kim.

A year later, Larsa told Us Weekly exclusively that she held no ill will toward Kim.
“I feel like we’re in a really good place. You know, I feel like there was a lot [of] miscommunication at the time,” she said. “We’ve all apologized to each other. We’re in a really good place.”
“People have disagreements with their friends all the time, but because of who we are, it’s just so magnified,” Larsa added. “In reality, it’s like, you know, maybe I could have navigated it different. Someone else could have navigated [it] different.”
“We’re all living our best lives,” she continued. “We’re all focusing on our families. We’re happy for each other. I couldn’t be happier for them and I know they couldn’t be happier for me and you know, that’s where it is.”
The Kardashians, for their part, were “unbothered” by Larsa’s comments about West, a source told Us at the time, adding that the sisters believe “Larsa spoke out about this now because she is craving attention.”
