Collin Gosselin is ready to be just like his dad, Jon Gosselin, with his new motorcycle.
“Like father … like son,” Collin, 21, wrote over an Instagram video on Thursday, July 31. The post included a throwback photo of Jon, 48, sitting on a motorcycle and a snap of Collin posing with his new blue bike.
“I always wanted to be cool like him ,” Collin added in the caption.
Jon appreciated the shout-out from his son, writing in a comment, “Thanks Collin!!! .”

Meanwhile, Jon’s fiancée, Stephanie Lebo, added, “Niiice. Maybe dad should get a bike again? Come by and show me later. BE CAREFUL & DON’T SPEED or that thing where they weave in and out of traffic, PLEASE. Love you. ”
Collin responded with a red heart emoji and promised Lebo, 37, that he would “be safe.”
Plenty of other fans and friends shared their excitement for the Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum in the comments.
“So happy to see you happy and enjoying life I’ve been watching the show since day one and you were always my favorite kid,” one person wrote, while another user added, “I’m so happy that you’re happy, keep on keeping on Collin!”
“Be safe! you look happy, and that’s nice to see,” a third fan commented.
Collin and his sextuplet siblings — Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Leah and Joel — as well as his older twin sisters, Mady and Cara, 24, rose to fame with their parents, Jon and Kate Gosselin, on TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 (later Kate Plus 8 following the couple’s divorce in 2009). The show aired 11 seasons from 2007 to 2017.

In 2018, Jon was granted custody of Collin after he wrote a letter to his father from a mental health facility, claiming that Kate, 50, had institutionalized him in order to cover up alleged abuse.
Hannah also chose to live with Jon, telling Entertainment Tonight in 2022 that she had “always been closer” with her dad and wanted a “one-on-one” parent relationship outside of their family’s busy household.
Meanwhile, Hannah and Collin’s siblings continued to live with Kate.
Kate denied Collin’s abuse allegations in an Instagram post in July 2023 after he spoke out in a Vice TV interview.
“My son Collin, whom I love with all my heart, has received multiple psychiatric diagnoses over the years. For the safety of myself, his brothers and sisters and for his own well-being, he was placed in a facility following the years of outpatient treatment which proved insufficient for his needs. The decision to admit him was made by emergency room doctors following one of his many attacks/outbursts – this one involving his use of a weapon,” she wrote.

Despite Collin’s fractured relationship with his mother, he told The U.S. Sun in October 2024 that he would be open to reconciling.
“So, first and foremost, my relationship with my brothers and sisters is of top priority to me. And I think the only way that my mother and I would be able to reconnect and fix our relationship in the future is, if she would just come forward with the truth and all the things that she has kept under wraps,” he said.
Collin continued, “And you know the many times that she’s tried to soil my name and my father’s name. I just would want her to come forward with the truth. [But] yes, that door would be open, 100 percent.”
