Diddy used his free time in prison to fire back at a lawsuit accusing his son Christian Combs of assaulting a woman on a mega yacht, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
Diddy, 55, who is a codefendant in the lawsuit, submitted a declaration in court on July 25.
He wrote, “Since 2020, I have been a citizen, permanent resident of … the State of Florida.”
“I am currently incarcerated in the Federal Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. I have been housed in that facility since on or about September 17, 2024. Prior to my arrest, I conducted day-to-day business affairs from the State of Florida.”

Diddy argued that the case, filed in California, should be thrown out since the state has no jurisdiction over him. The incarcerated mogul also said the complaint “incorrectly alleges that I chartered the yacht where the alleged assault occurred.”
He said another company chartered the yacht. “I am neither the signatory nor a party to the … Charter Agreement,” Diddy wrote.

Back in April 2024, Diddy (real name: Sean Combs) and his son were sued by a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh.
O’Marcaigh is a “European Caucasian female who worked as a Stewardess in the yachting industry since 2018,” her lawsuit read. She said she planned to work in the industry her entire career but that all changed after an alleged assault by Christian, 27.
In her suit, O’Marcaigh claimed she was working on a superyacht named Victorious. She said Diddy and his son were guests for a period of time.
O’Marcaigh claimed during one encounter with Christian, he “violently grabbed” her arm and began “hurting her.”

She claimed Christian drugged and sexually assaulted her, which was caught on camera by one of Diddy’s cameramen.
The alleged victim claimed Christian “took off all his clothes.” The suit claimed, “His penis was erect and he grabbed her arms and was trying to force [O’Marcaigh] to perform oral copulation on him.”
O’Marcaigh claimed she started fighting with him and then another party entered the room which caused Christian to leave. She said she told the captain about the incident but he got mad at her.

She claimed the captain received a generous tip from Diddy, which she believed was meant to keep him quiet about what happened.
In the lawsuit, O’Marcaigh attached alleged bruises on her arm from the incident. She said she was retaliated against on the yacht.
“This isolation and retaliation finally resulted in [O’Marcaigh’s] termination by [the captain] on or around May 10, 2023,” the suit alleged.
In addition, O’Marcaigh said she lost her longtime partner and saw her mental health decline “to the point that she was medicated and required intensive therapy.”
The alleged victim said she suffered several epileptic seizures due to the trauma.
Breaking Down Diddy’s Legal Troubles and Accusations: A Timeline
Diddy and Christian’s lawyer, Aaron Dyer, previously spoke out about the lawsuit.
He said, “This is just another lewd and meritless claim from [attorney] Tyrone Blackburn.”
Dyer added, “This complaint is filled with the same kind of manufactured lies and irrelevant facts we’ve come to expect from Blackburn. We will be filing a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim.”
As Us previously reported, Diddy was found not guilty of two charges of sex trafficking on July 2 as part of his federal trial. The jury did find him guilty of counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He faces 20 years in prison on the charges.
