A Facebook user, Bashir Shuaibu Umar, recently shared a compelling story of a young man’s incredible transformation after enduring seven months in captivity. On October 18, 2023, Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi, who was kidnapped by bandits during his journey to his hometown in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, was released.

Bashir, who posted before and after photos of Abdulrahman, accompanied the images with the following message: “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Witness the remarkable change in this young man after seven long months in the clutches of kidnappers.

“On 18/10/2023, by the grace of Allah, Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi was rescued from the hands of terrorists after enduring seven months of captivity. He had been abducted along the road to Dangulbi, Maru Local Government, Zamfara State. May God’s intervention separate the wicked from the righteous, and may these criminals who claim to be Muslims face justice.”
