Miami International Airport officials were stunned today when Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents discovered a man attempting to board a flight with live snakes hidden in his pants.
The unidentified individual was apprehended by vigilant TSA agents during routine security checks when they noticed something suspicious during the screening process. Upon further inspection, it was revealed that the man had a small bag concealed in his pants, containing several small reptiles.
A photograph released by airport authorities depicted two small snakes found nestled inside what appeared to be a sunglasses bag, cunningly stowed away in the passenger’s clothing. The TSA swiftly confiscated the contraband and handed it over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for further action.
In a separate incident at JFK International Airport, TSA officers intercepted an individual attempting to pass through security with a long machete. Fortunately, the weapon was confiscated before the passenger could proceed any further.
A spokesperson for the TSA took to social media to address the incident, stating, “He did not leave the checkpoint with it. Lesson learned: Don’t bring a machete to an airport checkpoint.”
