The former vice president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is accusing the Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of submitting forged documents to the nation’s electoral body in Nigeria, The Independent Electoral Commission Commission, got a favorable judgment yesterday from the court compelling the Chicago State University to release the academic credentials of Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu to him.

President Tinubu had approached the court to prevent the release of his credentials as he claimed that he would suffer harm if the documents were released.

Investigative journalist and founder of West African Week, Mr. David Hundeyin posted what is reportedly the proceedings of the Illinois court.

On a message on his X (Formerly Twitter) social media page, he stated that he had just received the written copy of “yesterday’s deposition.” He claimed that President Tinubu and The Chicago State University are both in trouble.

In his words, “Apart from confirming that the certificate submitted to INEC is forged, they also confirmed that they have no way of knowing that “Bola A. Tinubu” and “Bola Ahmed Tinubu” are in fact the same person.”

Mr David concluded by saying,
