The National Hockey League trade deadline is set to take place on Friday. Here are three Calgary Flames players who are most likely to be traded this week.

At age 35, it just does not make sense that the Calgary Flames keep Kadri on their roster during a rebuilding stage. Kadri currently leads the Flames in assists (29), points (41), power-play assists (11), power-play points (13), and shots on goal (165).
It has actually not been a very good season statistically for Kadri, but the bottom line is the fact he has been the Flames’s best offensive player this season. Kadri is also a two-time NHL All-Star (2021-22 with the Colorado Avalanche and 2022-23 with the Flames) and won a Stanley Cup in Colorado in 2022.
Two areas of concern for Kadri are his defensive play and discipline. He has been a -60 over the last four seasons in the Flames lineup, and has 84 posteason penalty minutes in 52 games.

Coleman is 34 years of age, and is expected to join an American based team in the next 100 hours. The native of Plano, Texas would be a solid fit to be a new member of the Dallas Stars.
Like Kadri, Coleman is a Stanley Cup champion, as he won with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020 and 2021. This season, he has 13 goals and eight assists for 21 points in 46 games.
It would make sense for the Flames to get something for Coleman now. The veteran centre has one more year left on his contract where he is set to make $4.9 million.

The 31-year-old left winger brings a lot of energy to any team he joins. However, Lomberg is expendable because he is an unrestricted free agent.
Lomberg only has eight points in 50 games. However, he is a Stanley Cup champion, having won hockey’s biggest prize with the Florida Panthers in 2024.
