It has mostly been an even match but Freiburg definitely had the edge over the Rekordmeister. Bayern Munich welcomed back its players from the international break and they’re (mostly) in one piece upon touching down in Munich. Save for Harry Kane’s absence, the Bavarians are at a decent level of strength heading into this match with SC Freiburg.

Freiburg sit nine points outside of the European spots but with a maximum of  27 points still up for grabs until the end of the season, they’re looking to win any points they can. There is a chance they could do something, as Bayern is saving up for their massive Champions League clash with Real Madrid in the quarter-finals next week, but the Rekordmeister isn’t willing to give away free points.
