Official | Nantes sign former Sivasspor centre-back Uros Radakovic

Serbian centre-back Uros Radakovic (31) has officially joined FC Nantes, the Ligue 1 side has announced. The defender signs as a free agent as his Sivasspor contract recently expired. Radakovic has put pen to paper over a two-year deal with Luís Castro’s Les Canaris. Radakovic’s recruitment has been validated by the new manager.

For his first presser as Nantes head coach, the former Dunkerque boss confirmed Radakovic’s arrival on Monday, pending his medical. “He’s comfortable on the ball, very strong in the air and aggressive. We need to give him time to discover French football and the club. But he’s a player who will help the team.”

Radakovic will wear the No. 26 jersey with Nantes. The Ligue 1 side was in the market for a centre-back after parting ways with Nicolas Pallois. France U21 international Nathan Zézé is also of interest to a handful of European clubs.
