Add another All-American honor to the long list of awards for Jeremy Fears Jr. this season.
CBS Sports released their All-American teams this week, with Fears receiving the nod. He was selected to their third team, Braden Smith of Purdue landing just ahead of him on the second team.
“Fears finished the season with the most assists per game (9.4) in college basketball,” wrote Cameron Salerno. “He doubled his scoring (15.2 points) from last season and improved in all areas. Fears’ breakout season helped Michigan State reach the Sweet 16.”
Fears has been named to a number of All-American teams in the last few weeks, most recently landing on the Wooden All-America team this week. Fears has at least one more year of eligibility remaining, with many Spartans hoping he’ll return for next season and make Michigan State a preseason national championship contender.

Our 2025-26 All-America teams for men’s college basketball have published.
Six of the 15 spots are occupied by freshmen, and the vote for the three teams was the most competitive we’ve had, maybe ever.
