Veteran linebacker Drue Tranquill initially joined the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent on March 21, 2023, after a four-year tenure with the Los Angeles Chargers, who selected him with the No. 130 pick in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft.
He re-signed with Kansas City on March 13, 2024.
Tranquill was a key member of the Chiefs‘ Super Bowl LVIII roster and will be a major contributor in Kansas City’s effort to punch its ticket to a fourth-consecutive championship appearance in 2025.
Through his first two regular-season campaigns with the Chiefs, Tranquill has started in 24 games, tallied 172 combined tackles, and forced two fumbles.
Drue Tranquill currently wears the No. 23 jersey for the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to OverTheCap.com, Tranquill will receive a base salary of $6,750,000 in addition to a prorated signing bonus of $1,500,000 in 2025.
