Dolphins GM has intriguing answer to who he wants to improve in 2026

April 4, 2026

After firing general manager Chris Grier in the middle of their 2025 campaign, the Miami Dolphins waited until the end of the year to search for his replacement, and they landed on former Green Bay Packers executive Jon-Eric Sullivan.

It’s been a few months since Sullivan got the job, and he’s already made a lot of significant moves that he believes will put the Dolphins in a position to compete in the near future.

One of those moves was re-signing tight end Greg Dulcich, and earlier this week, Sullivan picked Dulcich out of anyone on the team as the player he is most excited to see improve in 2026.

“I thought he had a really good back end of the season. I want to see if he can build on that,” Sullivan said on “This is Football” with ESPN’s Kevin Clark. “That’s why we brought him back.”

Dulcich appeared in 10 games for Miami last season and caught 26 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers were similar to his best season, when he caught 33 passes for 411 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie with the Denver Broncos.

Right now, Dulcich is the top tight end on the Dolphins’ depth chart, so if they don’t bring in someone better than him, he should have the best statistical season of his career in 2026.
