Brendson Ribeiro and Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev meet on the UFC Fight Night 272 main card Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Check out this quick preview of the matchup.
Ribeiro (17-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC) aims to get back on track following back-to-back first-round stoppages against Azamat Murzakanov and Oumar Sy. Prior to those defeats, Ribeiro won consecutive fights against Caio Machado and Diyar Nurgozhay.
Yakhyaev (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) made a statement in his November debut by submitting Raffael Cerqueira in just 33 seconds. That finish was three seconds slower than his contract-earning win on Dana White’s Contender Series last August. Out of eight career fights, Yakhyaev has only gone the distance once.

Ribeiro and Yakhyaev are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 9:40 p.m. ET. The fight streams live on Paramount+.
