1. Ginger root

Ginger will soothe cough, sore throat, and nausea that can accompany the common cold.

2. Honey

Mix honey with warm water and lime for weight loss

Honey has antibacterial and antimicrobial ingredients that ease cough and sore throat. Mixing honey, lemon, and tea can ease the symptoms of a cold.

3. Chicken pepper soup

With your nose clogging and your appetite dwindling, a hot pepper soup can release your nose and cause the movement of neutrophils which protects your body from infections and heals you.

4. Garlic

Garlic also has antimicrobial qualities that help your body fight the infections causing the common cold and flu. Drink garlic tea or add it to your diet.

5. Saltwater gargle

Add ½ teaspoon of saltwater to warm water to relieve a sore or scratchy throat.
