Bobola Akinfolarin has been unveiled as the new head coach of Nigeria National League outfit, Sunshine Stars, DAILY POST reports.
Akinfolarin was unveiled at the headquarters of the Ondo State Football Agency , ODSFA, on Thursday.
The former Dolphins and Eagle Cement player penned a one-year contract.
Akinfolarin holds a CAF B Coaching License as well as an Advanced Certificate from the National Institute for Sports (NIS).
He previously served as technical director of Sunshine Queens FC, and also worked as an assistant coach under several managers including Bala Abubakar, Kennedy Boboye, and Kayode Olujoungbe.
Sunshine Stars will begin their 2025/26 campaign with an away fixture against Edel FC in Owerri this weekend.
