The Imo State Police Command has commenced enforcement of ban on all activities of the State Environmental Transformation Agency Commission ENTRACO, and other related taskforces. as direceted by Governor, Hope Uzodinma,
The Command, in a press statement made available to Journalists through its spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, informed that it has fully commenced the enforcement of the suspension and urged affected staff of the agency, its related allies to comply with the new order.
Okoye hinted that in view of the directives, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, has accordingly, directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Tactical Commanders to ensure strict compliance.
He stated that anyone operating under the name or guise of ENTRACO will be promptly arrested and prosecuted.
In addition, the Command’s spokesperson, further informed that the Police is working closely with the State Government to support ongoing investigations into ENTRACO’s activities.
“Verified complaints of misconduct, extortion, or abuse by its operatives will be professionally investigated, and offenders will face justice.
“Members of the public with credible information or complaints are encouraged to report directly to the State Criminal Investigation Department ,SCID, Police Headquarters, Owerri”.he stated
Okoye, assured members of the public that the Command,in the process of carrying out the enforcement, will remain committed in protecting lives and property, upholding the law, and maintaining public confidence.
