Former Blackburn striker, Chris Sutton, has said Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s career at Arsenal looks over under Mikel Arteta and he could be stripped of his captaincy.
Arteta dropped Aubameyang for the visit of Southampton on Saturday.
Ahead of the game at the Emirates, the Spaniard said the striker was dropped “due to a disciplinary breach”.
And Sutton said on BT Sport Score: “He’s making the rules up as he goes along, players have to adhere to the rules.
“The big question is does Aubayemang have a future at Arsenal under Arteta?”
Asked if he will remain as captain, Sutton added: “It doesn’t look that way, it’s not a good example to set.”
