Donald Trump’s business fraud civil case in New York has been a headline-generating event as his three adult children, Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka Trump take the stand. The former president has been having meltdowns in and outside the courtroom because his kids have been put in this position, but it seems to be Ivanka’s testimony that bugs him the most.

Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, who was removed as a defendant in the case, has done her best to create distance from her father’s career ambitions after she left Washington, D.C. Unfortunately for her, Donald Trump’s legal issues have roped her back in and it’s reportedly left him “upset and agitated” that she’s being “dragged into court,” according to Page Six. This frustrating situation has reportedly left the formerly close father-daughter duo somewhat at odds with how the $250 million case is playing out.

“This is causing problems with Ivanka who has worked hard to stay under the radar for last two-ish years and is bracing herself for the press and paparazzi who will pounce on her at court,” a source told the media outlet. Ivanka tried hard to get herself out of testifying on a school day since it would cause her “undue hardship,” but that excuse did not fly with Judge Arthur Engoron.

Ivanka’s participation in her dad’s legal circus isn’t helping their relationship and that’s probably why Donald Trump keeps fighting back. “He sympathizes with [Ivanka’s] feelings because of how it affects her life in Miami… Ivanka wants zero [public] attention, and now she’s being thrust back into the spotlight and Trump is upset that this is happening to her,” the insider said. This probably won’t be the only case his daughter gets involved with because he still has the January 6th indictment ahead of him. And Ivanka is not going to be able to outrun the subpoena that will likely come her way from Special Counsel Jack Smith. It’s going to be a rough ride ahead for Donald Trump and his daughter.
