Brady won seven Super Bowls over his legendary career, with most referring to him as not only the greatest in the history of his position but also the sport as a whole.
Brady’s insight into the game is unparalleled given the situations he played through, which is why his perfectly constructed QB with one skill from different all-time QBs might be a terrifying player.
Brady was asked to name multiple current and historic QBs to fill specific skill requirements to create the ultimate QB, leading to a very interesting answer from the 49-year-old legend.
Brady took Steve Young’s agility, Lamar Jackson’s speed, Brett Favre’s toughness, Andrew Luck’s pocket presence, Aaron Rodgers’ throw power, Drew Brees’ accuracy, Peyton Manning’s brain for identifying coverage, and the true playmaking prowess of Patrick Mahomes.
If Brady’s perfect QB were to play for a team like the 2026 Browns, he could potentially carry them to the Super Bowl.
He would be able to scan the field like Manning, add the toughness of Favre and Luck, while combining Rodgers’ incredible throwing power with Brees’ historic accuracy.
Adding in Jackson’s speed and Mahomes’ improvisational game, this player could be a one-man force who would change the NFL forever. Thank God that a player like that does not exist.
The most notable bit from this interview came when Brady named former Giants QB Eli Manning as the player whose ‘lucky gene’ would be the perfect touch on this fictional player.

Brady consistently outperformed all his generation’s greatest QBs in the postseason. However, he couldn’t do it against the less-heralded Manning brother, who stopped him from building an even more incredible career trophy case.
Brady’s dig with the ‘lucky gene’ comment is clearly referring to the skill gap between the players while acknowledging that Manning did get multiple big wins over him.
