The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.
The Arizona Cardinals have many roster decisions to make before then.
Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.
Next up is offensive lineman Valentin Senn.
Senn was one of the Cardinals’ undrafted rookie signings out of UConn. The Cardinals used an international exemption, as he is from Austria.
He suffered a neck injury in training camp and was placed on injured reserve, ending his rookie season before it began.
He is signed through 2027, after which he will be a restricted free agent. He will make $885,000 in 2026 and count $898,000 against the salary cap
The initial question about Senn is whether he gets healthy or not. Can he even work during the offseason program?
He will be a longshot to make the roster, but the exemption would allow him to spend the year on the practice squad.
