NPFL: Shooting Stars to face Warri Wolves in Abeokuta
Shooting Stars have adopted the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta as their new ground for home matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League,NPFL.
DAILY POST recalls that the Oluyole Warriors were giving options to relocate to either the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos or the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta.
The directive followed concerns over the deteriorating condition of the pitch at the Lekan Salami Stadium, in Ibadan, which they described as not suitable for television broadcast.
Shooting Stars will lock horns with Warri Wolves at their new ground in Abeokuta this weekend.
The Oluyole Warriors are expected to return to their original ground pending approval from the league body.
Shooting Stars are winless in their last two fixtures, and they occupy seventh position on the NPFL table with 35 points.
