Fifteen years after drunkenly trying to find the beach and getting arrested, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi reunited with the officer who put her behind bars.
On Monday, July 28, Polizzi, 37, shared a TikTok video of her journey traveling to Seaside, New Jersey, again and meeting the arresting officer, Joe Fastige.
“We’re going to do a little photo shoot in honor of my new merch dropping in honor of me getting arrested all those years ago, and I’m also seeing again the cop that arrested me,” the reality star said in the video. “I haven’t seen him since that fateful day where he did arrest me. … It’s going to be a little reunion at The Snooki Shop.”
Fans can’t help but remember on season 3 of Jersey Shore in July 2010 when Polizzi drunkenly ran and yelled down the boardwalk, “Where’s the beach?” which resulted in her being charged with disorderly conduct.

Polizzi’s TikTok video then shows Fastige walking into her store and asking, “Nicole, did you ever find that beach?”
After briefly catching up with each other, the Jersey Shore star couldn’t help but ask Fastige what was “going through his mind” when he saw her being “disgusting” on the beach.

“Not disgusting. You just had a little bit of fun, a little too much fun, that’s OK,” he said. “Honestly, I don’t know, I was 21 years old at the time. … Baby cop. I think I was a year out of the academy, and I was getting paid a little bit of overtime to kind of watch you guys. … And I was there, and I was like, ‘Oh, man, this is a lot. This is a lot of people too.’”
Fastige recalled one of the producers telling him that Polizzi’s behavior wasn’t “an act” and another bystander saying they “wouldn’t allow anyone else to do” what Polizzi was doing.
“I had to do what I had to do, but it’s OK. Everyone makes mistakes, everybody gets a little bit too drunk and doesn’t know where the beach is even though the beach is right under your feet,” he joked.

Polizzi corrected him, noting that she knew where the beach was, but what her “drunk self meant was, ‘How do I get on the beach?’”
“You found it,” Fastige joked.

The pair then ended up going on the beach and acting out what happened that day.
Following their meetup, Polizzi got candid about not being ashamed of her past and how it made her who she is today.
“I never took myself seriously, thank God, so when people talked about me bad or made fun of me, I’m just like, ‘Whatever, let me live,’” she told People on Wednesday, July 30. “I feel like, especially back then, everyone had something to say about us. They were judging whatever. It’s not like we were killing people. We were just enjoying ourselves, being young and single at the boardwalk and down the shore. It’s not that serious.”
