The Golden Bachelor alum Theresa Nist isn’t giving up on love.

More than a year after her marriage to Gerry Turner came to an end, the reality star is ready to give an update on her dating life.

“Nothing is solidified yet. I’m keeping my options open,” Theresa, 71, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at iHeartRadio and Vrbo’s Pickleball Tournament in Lake Tahoe, California. “I want to take my time. I don’t want to rush into anything.”

In a June episode of iHeartRadio’s “Almost Famous” podcast, Theresa revealed to cohosts Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti that she had been on “several” dates with a mystery man.

While vacationing in Lake Tahoe at a house available on Vrbo, Theresa confirmed to Us that she was “still talking to him.”

“I’m really so happy with my life. I have so much,” she explained. “I’m really blessed with my family and my friends and my work and my gardening and the stock market. I have so many things going on, so it’s fun.”

This summer, Theresa is making it a priority to watch Bachelor in Paradise and root for the friends she made while appearing on The Golden Bachelor in 2023.

While she came close to being cast on the latest season and traveling to Costa Rica, Theresa said she has zero FOMO and enjoys watching close friends, like Leslie Fhima, on the small screen.

“I’m glad that I can just watch,” she told Us. “I had gone through the whole process. I was there, I was excited, and then I realized I was more excited about the reunion with all the women and meeting the men, but not so much getting a love connection. I didn’t want to do it if my heart wasn’t completely there.”

As for her reaction to Leslie and Gary Levingston’s connection on Bachelor in Paradise, Theresa can’t help but root for the pair.

“I see an incredible friendship, a true love of each other and who that person is,” she shared. “They’ve enriched each other’s lives. No matter where this leads, if nothing else, they are going to be lifelong friends. They make each other better. I love seeing it.”

As connections continue to build on Bachelor in Paradise, Theresa is intrigued to see who will walk away with up to $500,000. Most importantly, she is hopeful her friends have a positive experience as they search for love and friendship.

“I am just rooting for them all,” she said. “I’m very excited.”
